Future of JTown Focus Groups Final Summary Report (2021)

In partnership with the Japantown Task Force and the office of the Consul General, three focus groups were conducted with 29 members of the younger ‘next-generation’ of our community to hear their inspirations and concerns, around the preservation and future of Japantown.

Japantown Property Ownership Roster, Full Report (2021)

The Japantown Task Force (JTF) commissioned a research study to identify ownership for properties in the traditional boundaries of San Francisco’s Japantown. The boundaries of this roster are enclosed by Steiner St., California St., Gough St., and Ellis St. Two reports were created from the data obtained; a condensed data Summary Report and a Full Report with additional data points.
